And I’ve actually meant to rent it and watch it again to make sure this wasn’t a fluke, how thoroughly I enjoyed it, because I saw it in English while living in Germany after a couple immersive months of study abroad and I could have just been starved (starved!) for American humor. I gather this is one of the lesser-liked Coen films, just because pretty much nobody has even heard of it when I ask about it. Go figure.
