Having spent the last few years in a graduate applied science / engineering program, I’ve heard no shortage of criticism directed at the Bush administration’s science policies. And for good reason, if you ask me.
But this short article from WIRED suggests that the Bush administration’s stem cell policy, right or wrong, should not be labeled “anti-science”.

I love the film Once (and the soundtrack), so I thought it was pretty funny when The Simpsons referrenced the movie. And yes, those are the voices of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, the actors from the movie.

Last Tuesday I got my copy of U2’s new album, No Line On The Horizon (get it at Amazon for only $9.99!). I wanted to digest it for a few days before expressing my thoughts, as I usually need a few listens of a new album to form a solid opinion. Early this morning U2 announced concert dates for the first leg of their tour only a week after releasing their new album, No Line On The Horizon.
